generationE founding member and journalist, Bernd-Volker Brahms, interviewed Albrecht Weinberg in 2023 in Leer in East Frisia, Germany, Hr. Weinberg’s hometown. He survived several camps and emigrated to the United States after the end of World War II before returning to Germany to live to the golden age of 100.

generationE co-founder, Nicole Nocon, interviewed Renate Muhr-Langeani, a Holocaust survivor from Görlitz in Saxony during a visit to her hometown in 2023 as part of Jewish Remembrance Week. Her family fled persecution by the National Socialists to South America and she currently lives in Brazil.
